Just when you think LG cannot possibly offer any more phone for the money, they do exactly that! With the KC550, also known as the 'Orsay', LG yet again puts many other manufacturers to shame with a well-designed handset that has a quality finish to match the features within.

The best and most obvious of those features is the 5 megapixel camera, and a lot of thought has gone into this with a sliding lens cover which starts up the camera when opened - something not even all cameras have these days - revealing a Schneider-Kreuznach 'certified' lens. An LED flash is also included, together with a range of settings including macro mode, image stabilisation, video recording and playback with sound, self-timer, autofocus, burst mode and zoom. The phone's 5-way control pad acts as shortcut buttons for several features in camera mode. You can also resize, crop, add text, frame and rotate your photos. The phone also automatically switches to landscape mode when shooting or viewing pictures, again a feature that even some of the most expensive smartphones are shy of.

But that's not all - this is a serious video recording camera too, with 720x480 pixels at 30 frames per second, far higher than the usual 320x320 pixel size found on most camera phones making it one of the best video recording camera phones on the market. Hey, from the lens side - or the back of the phone if you prefer - it even looks like a camera!

The accelerometer, or motion sensor, the device within the phone which rotates your pictures is also fantastic fun for games, and you can tilt and twist the handset for example to work your way through a maze game. 5 games are included on the phone. You also get a stereo music player, FM radio with auto scan and nine presets, bluetooth, drag and drop technology and all the usual diary/alarm organiser features you have come to expect as the norm too in a classy looking handset with 2.4 inch, 262,000 colour screen.
