The Samsung i5500 Galaxy Europa runs Android 2.1, the latest version, and coupled with the 600 MHz processor you get beautifully smooth operation with no lag. As you might expect with a true smart phone you get Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS, the latter being perfect for use with Google Maps Navigation.

There’s an on-screen QWERTY keyboard as well as the usual T9 predictive text version if you prefer. Viewing Internet pages is a delight too, with text automatically re-flowing to fit the screen and instant zoom available by simply tapping the screen.
