Just when you think Nokia have produced their best handset, the next one comes along and it's even better! That's certainly the case with the Nokia 6500 Classic, which at 9.5mm thin is Nokia's thinnest phone to date. The gorgeous polished metal casing (Nokia claim these are "individually polished", but we'll reserve judgement on what that actually means) contains a host of top notch features that defy it's slim size, including a multiformat music player (the popular AAC, eAAC+ and MP3 formats), a 2 megapixel camera with zoom, MPEG4 video camera, video ringtones, and a high resolution crystal clear display with 16 million colours.

This is a quadband 3G handset too, so you get broadband-speed internet access and with two 3G wavebands you can use the phone just about everywhere in the world! Note though, that there is no videocalling camera - maybe Nokia have realised it's a feature nobody ever uses?

The Nokia 6500 classic is unlocked for use on any 2G or 3G network worldwide and will work with your current Pay As You Go or Contract sim card.
